Here's the latest in fights made and fighters signed by the UFC's yentes.
-- Somehow, not every heavyweight bout isn't on UFC 146. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will fight Cheick Kongo at UFC 149 in Calgary. This is Big Nog's first fight back since Frank Mir snapped his arm.
-- The moving around of title fights isn't over with Chael Sonnen's bout with Anderson Silva. Jose Aldo's title fight may move to UFC 147 in Brazil, which doesn't have a venue, and Dan Henderson may face Jon Jones for the UFC light heavyweight belt at UFC 149 in Calgary. With summer looming, few pay-per-view cards outside of UFC 148 in Las Vegas are set.
-- Though there isn't a fight yet scheduled for him, former Bellator champion Hector Lombard will make the move to the UFC. MMA Fighting found out from Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney, and then Lombard confirmed the news on Twitter. His last loss was in 2006, and Rebney said he is confident Lombard will be the UFC middleweight champ.
-- Marcus LeVesseur will make his UFC debut against Cody McKenzie at UFC on Fuel 3 on May 15 in Virginia, taking the place of Aaron Riley. Wrestling fans will recognize LeVesseur as four-time D-III national champion. He's been fighting since 2003 and has a record of 21-5. TUF alum McKenzie is on a three-fight losing streak.
UPDATE: One more bout for your enjoyment. Mark Munoz will take on Chris Weidman at UFC on Fuel 4 on July 11. The just-announced event does not yet have a location, but is important in deciding who will fight for the middleweight belt next.

French indie 'Goodbye First Love' leaves one wondering why she didn't dump the guy earlier.
"Goodbye First Love," a French film from writer-director Mia Hansen-L?ve, is about the first stirrings of romance, and it made me appreciate again the similarly themed and far better American indie "Like Crazy."

Serious-minded 15-year-old Camille (Lola Cr?ton) falls for the older and more footloose Sullivan (Sebastian Urzendowsky), who loves her, but loves even more exploring the world on his own. She overcomes her disappointment and finds strength in a new relationship, but, of course, Sullivan is waiting in the wings.
Hansen-L?ve wants us to experience all this as a kind of?amour fou,?but all I kept thinking was that Sullivan was a prize jerk and Camille would be well rid of him. Grade: C (Unrated.)

One thing that has been remarkable about Facebook is its willingness to expand in developing markets that many other consumer Internet companies would otherwise write off because they're hard to monetize. But that growth abroad plus the company's increasing headcount and share-based compensation expenses are eating into its operating margins, according to yesterday's earnings numbers from a revised IPO filing. Facebook made $381 million in operating income (or 36 percent of its $1.06 billion in revenue) in the first quarter of this year. That's down from $388 million in operating income (or 53 percent of its $731 million in revenue) from a year ago. Net income is actually down 12 percent year-over-year to $205 million from $233 million a year ago. Here's a closer look at how revenues and costs are changing for the company:12 days of christmas a christmas carol arkansas football player dies anne mccaffrey anne mccaffrey amazon promotional code artificial christmas trees

Just a week after NASA signed off on its launch, SpaceX has had to postpone the flight of the Dragon. It's yet another delay to NASA's efforts to supply the International Space Station using private spacecraft and reduce the US's dependence on Soyuz rockets. Taking to Twitter, founder Elon Musk said that the company needed to do more testing on the docking code for the capsule, while spokesperson Kirstin Brost Grantham told Space.com that the company needed more time to test and review the hardware. Pending NASA's approval, it'll begin its journey heavenward on the head of a Falcon 9 between May 3rd and May 7th. Given that the original mission was scheduled for November last year, they'll probably need to check the use-by dates on those space rations.
Update: Elon Musk has confirmed, via Twitter, that Falcon 9 and Dragon will lift off on May 7th and rendezvous with the ISS. So long as "the company" doesn't detour them to some mysterious rock first.

If it happened any other way, it just wouldn't be as satisfying, now would it? After years of leaks, murmurs, hubbub and other familiar synonyms, Google's mythical cloud storage platform is now official... sort of. As Lady Fate would have it, the company apparently outed a memo of the features on its French blog earlier today, but before it could yank the 'pull' switch, an eagle-eyed reader managed to grab the text and run it through -- surprise, surprise -- Google Translate. What's left is an official-as-you'll-get-right-now transcript of Google Drive's features, but contrary to the hype, it all feels way more enterprise-centric than consumers may have wanted. For starters, there's no real mention of music (we guess Google Music is on its own, there), and there's just 5GB of free storage for "documents, videos, photos, Google Docs, PDFs, etc." According to the brief, it's designed to let users "live, work and play in the cloud," with direct integration with Docs and Google+.
We're also told that Drive can be installed on one's Mac, PC or Android phone / tablet, while an iOS version will be "available in the coming weeks." Of note, Google's making this accessible to visually impaired consumers with the use of a screen reader. As for features? Naturally, Google's flexing its search muscles in as many ways as possible; if you scan in a newspaper clipping, a simple Search All within Drive will allow results to appear directly from said clipping. If you upload a shot of the Eiffel Tower, it'll show up whenever you search for the aforesaid icon. Moreover, Drive will allow folks to open over 30 types of documents directly from a web browser, including HD video, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and more -- "even without the software installed on your computer." For those concerned about access, the new platform will have the same infrastructure as any other Google Apps services, giving admins a familiar set of management tools on that end.
On the topic of storage, just 5GB are provided gratis, with 25GB costing $2.49 per month, 100GB running you $4.99 per month and 1TB demanding $49.99 per month, with a maximum of 16TB ($799.99 per month, if you're curious) per user; thankfully, Google Docs will not be included in your usage total. Finally, the note played up the ability to "attach documents directly into your Drive Gmail," and given that it's intended to be an open platform, Goog's promising to work with third party developers in order to enhance Drive's functionality even further. The source link below is still dead as of right now, but it simply can't be long before the lights are officially turned on. Oh, and if you're not enamored at the moment, the outfit's suggesting that "many more developments" will be arriving in the coming weeks.
Update: It's live on the Google Play store, and a pair of explanatory videos are embedded after the break!

Ever wonder how Google manages to search the entire web and return results in half a second? Well, RobertvH from Munich did, and Mountain View's head of web-spam, Matt Cutts, talks you through it in the above YouTube video. The short answer? Lots of backend firepower and, you know, a few years in the search game. If you remember the Google dance, Cutts explains what caused that, before going on to give a good idea about how today's version of the site does what it does. If you're thinking this all sounds a bit too much like SEO 101, you'd be half-way right, but as Matt's delivery is so engaging, we're def hoping there'll be a follow up.

Prepare to watch Kim Kardashian cry fake tears over at least a half dozen more divorces, E! viewers, as the network announced today that it has renewed Keeping Up with the Kardashians for three more seasons.
The new deal is worth $40 million for the family, and that figure does NOT include all the revenue Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and kompany will earn by simply Tweeting and pretending to be your pal on Facebook.
The contract also does NOT cover additional seasons of Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take New York or Khloé & Lamar, along with any future spin-offs producers can conjure up (Kris Does Menopause? Kendall Studies For Her Learner's Permit?).
Keeping Up with the Kardashians premieres its next season on May 20, with the only real question remaining:
How much air time will be dedicated to Kim and Kanye West?

My clothes are color coordinated in my closet, thanks to my mom?s organizational influence. By being an encouraging role model, my swim coach taught me to never leave a task without giving it everything I have and that quitting is not a real word. But, their influence on me was still not as great as was my best friend Jordan; she left a footprint on my heart. I needed somebody who would stand by me through every up and down. Jordan, the best friend I ever had, did just that.
?Do you want a goldfish?" was all it took, and my third grade self already considered her a friend. It was destiny; some greater power had to have control over this situation because the friendship ahead of us, for the next seven years, was indescribable. Not long after we met, I was walking home and staying with her after school every day until my parents got home. Time flew by and you never saw us away from each other. Before we knew it we were completing each other?s sentences.
At that age, with any other girl you could not have a five minute conversation without them bringing up the most recent drama. Nope, not with Jordan; we could talk about our hopes, dreams, and fears all night without feeling judged. We clicked, and at that critical point in my life that is exactly what I needed, someone to relate to. She knew what every smile, laugh and cry really meant because she was me. Everything I was not, she was, and everything she was not, I was. I cannot say that about anybody else. It was not all rainbows and butterflies though; we had our disagreements. We would bicker and pull the silent treatment every now and then, but it never lasted longer than fifteen minutes. But even then, the fights were far and few between.
Then came our junior year, it may be surprising, since we had been inseparable for years, but we drifted apart. The separation was sad, but it was also reality. We smile at each other in the hall and have sleepovers every now and then, but it just is not the same, and we both know it. I thought Jordan and I would be friends forever, and maybe we will be. In a fairy tale ending, our friendship would reconnect to how magical it was in the third grade, but in reality what we had could never be duplicated. I mean lightening doesn?t strike twice in the same place, right?
Wherever we go in life, I will forever remember her because she worked her soul into my heart. I will never forget our hours of laughter, days of crying over boys, and all our crazy memories on vacations; for those are the times that influenced me so deeply. I was a caterpillar when I first met her. She helped me through my metamorphosis and is the only reason why I fly as a butterfly today.
